Small Company got #1 Ranking on MSN in 30 days

Break of Dawn Restaurant : This restaurant web site was completely designed and coded by Internet Media 411. It is an example of what we can do for a very small company. While this should never be expected, we got the #1 listing in a very competitive keyword "Orange County Restaurant" on MSN in just 30 days. We always tell clients that typically our work takes six months before we expect to see top 10 listings. We are still waiting for Yahoo and Google to follow suite but we are expecting good things.  

As of December 27, 2006 -- 6 weeks after launching BreakOfDawnRestaurant.com, they had 14 top 10 search engine listings and 5 more between 11 and 50.

As of January 10, 2007 -- 8 weeks after launching the site, that number grew to 98 top-10 search engine listings with 14 more between 11 and 20.

Web traffic increased by 100 times in six months.

Long Island Youth Mentoring: In the six months we worked for LIYM, the site's click thru traffic increased from 3 (in January) to 260 (in August) a day. See the Web stats graph below.

This small Web site supports a Christian ministry. We started working for them in February 2006. We started by doing search engine optimization for all pages of the site. Next, we worked to increase the number of linking sites. We added pay-per-click from Yahoo, Google and MSN. Next we added regular press releases and found major sites to publish articles about the ministries work. While this sounds like a lot of work for LIYG, it was quite easy since we held their hand through the entire process.

LIYM's experience of having to wait six months for significant traffic growth is quite typical. It is rare that search engine optimization happens more quickly. There are exceptions like Teahan.com where the site took off after one day of work. See the next company for that description.

One day's work pays off with hundreds of top 10 listings

Not only did we provide Internet marketing support, but we handled trade show promotions, the official partner directory and print ad development. Break of Dawn: This business is owned by Chef Dee, trained at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The web site was designed in November so I expect it to have top ranking by May 2007.

Cragg Motors: This used car dealer is owned by Michael Cragg, This web site has been on line for two years but got no ranking. We started optimizing in September 2006. In the first three months, we were able to get a MSN rank of #1 and a Yahoo rank of #2 for the keyword "Used Car Dealer Kansas City". For the keyword "Used Car Kansas City", we got an MSN rank of #2 and a Yahoo rank of #11.

As of January 10, 2007 -- 12 weeks after launching the site, the number to top-10 listings was 148 with 23 between 11 and 20.
